Jon Imbernon - electric guitar & Melik Turunen - modular synth

Jon Imbernon is a free improvising guitarist exploiting overall experimentalism with dissonance, noise, repetition, minimalism and spatial music.
Residing in Finland since 2010, he is originally from Bilbao where he started being active in the experimental and free improvisation music scene in the early 2000´s.
Jon Imbernon has recorded several albums and performed live in Spain, Portugal and Finland sometimes supporting artists like Merzbow or Lydia Lunch.

Melik Turunen is a musician active in Helsinki. Mostly working on modular synthesizer, bass guitar and a myriad of auxiliary instruments, he’s crafting an idiosyncratic world of sound, at times pointillistic, at times serene. His activities revolve around the Helsinki Improvisers Orchestra - a social and artistic community project co-founded by him - along various, periodic concerts and recordings with other local musicians.

Jukka Kääriäinen - electric guitar & Vesa Lehko - saxophone

Jukka Kääriäinen born in 1987, is a Helsinki based musician focused on experimental music. Depending on the situation, he plays an acoustic guitar with preparations or an electric guitar with a array of pedals.
Jukka Kääriäinen has performed in many European countries and at international festivals in the United Kingdom, Spain, and France. In addition to solo concerts, he regularly performs in bands and has collaborated with many leading European improvisers such as Teppo Hauta-Aho, Harri Sjöström, Axel Dörner, Camila Nebbia, Kriton Beyer, Mikko Innanen, and Marta Warelis, premiering works by composers such as Riikka Talvitie, Heinz-Juhani Hofmann, Sebastian Hilli, Sami Klemola, Clara de Asis, and Tytti Arola.

Vesa Lehko plays improvised music on saxophones and clarinets and is interested in working at the intersection of improvisation and pre-planned structures. He also runs the Rahina-klubi, a event series for sound art, improvisation and experimental music which operates at the Merihaka Kylätupa in Helsinki.
