Azis Funck’s fourth album Unnaming will be out on 14.10.2026 on tape and digitally.

The music draws inspiration from objects falling on floors, symphony orchestras tuning their instruments, ancient music, long lost, playing in a dream, Raincoats’ 1st album, free jazz, anti-authoritarianism and embracing amateurism.

Tytti Roto (e.g. Modem, Tamara Luonto) and Ville Valavuo (e.g. Modem, Kohti Tuhoa) play saxophones on the album and at the Toinen kerros show.

Azis Funck is Tuomas Alatalo’s (Cats of Transnistria, Stinkbird) experimental music solo project.

MAIJU JOUPPI

Maiju Jouppi plays synths and longs to be synthetic, but alas, flesh and blood throughout. To compensate, this solo project aims to synthesize her thoughts and moods into fantasy synth music along the lines of video game scores and dungeon synth.
