Luke Lund presents an exclusive series of electroacoustic nocturnes. Free entry.

Luke Lund is a Turku-based, self-taught musician, producer and artist working at the fringes of concrète composition, mutant club culture and sound art. Guided by a dub-informed philosophy, Lund favours organic, real-time sound manipulation over elaborate pre-programming. Attentive to timbre, texture and the spectral qualities of sound, his work ranges from conceptual soundscape montages to rhythmic electronics in constant flux.

Emerging in 2008 from a background in SFX modding, his early work revolved around collages and drone-based soundscapes created with destructive audio editors, eventually giving way to rhythmic electronics under various aliases. He founded the netlabel Terranean in 2010, consolidated his projects under the name Luke Lund in 2012, and subsequently experimented with the sister labels Birthdeath and Barely Here.

His discography spans UK bass contortions, autonomous generative systems and spectral sound poetry, with releases on labels including Ohm Resistance, Superpang, YOUTH and Zimoun’s Leerraum, alongside releases and collaborations involving Regis, Aidan Baker and Submerged. Since beginning to perform live in 2018, Lund has approached each appearance as a unique exploration. He has toured across Europe, and his work has been presented internationally, including in Miami, Berlin, London, Copenhagen, Bern and Coventry. More recently, he hosted a residency programme on Lyon-based online radio station LYL for over a year.
